A foundation of Hawaiian agricultural knowledge, paired with the proper care and handling is essential for each landscape design. A thorough understanding of plant selection for various conditions and locations throughout the island is very important during the design phase. A proper design paired with the right selection of plants and attentive care is sure to result in a healthy, beautiful landscape.

Vernon will work with you to clarify your vision for your ultimate dream landscape. With your unique landscaping project in mind, he will create designs of the project and provide recommendations for plant selection. Stone sculptures, zen gardens, rock pathways and more can all be included in Vernon’s final design. The design process is fluid and can include CAD, client-inspired, or hand-drawn plans.

Installation

With your carefully crafted landscape design in place, Vernon can bring your ideas to life with the installation process. Kawahara Gardening Specialists is equipped and experienced in completing various types of installation work for both commercial and high-end residential properties. Proper construction methods, equipment, experience and safety are key factors to landscape installation. All construction work is completed under a licensed contractor's supervision, follows appropriate safety measures and is fully insured.
