Kawahara Gardening Specialists, Inc. (KGS) was founded in 1994 by Vernon Y. Kawahara on the Windward side of Oahu. We incorporated in 2003 and are established today as a full-service, landscape contracting company with the desire to bring every client’s tropical vision to life. Although our crew and capabilities have expanded, we remain family owned and operated, allowing us to maintain a keen eye for detail and quality.
Although times have changed greatly since we first began, our commitment to our clients remains of utmost importance. We maintain an A+ rating on the Better Business Bureau and are fully licensed and insured to complete various types of commercial and residential work.
KGS understands that as every individual is different, so is the vision for their property. Our unique ability to take this vision from its’ simple design phase, all the way to installation and maintenance sets us apart from the competition. We specialize in both high-end residential and commercial projects and provide landscape design, plant selection, installation, maintenance, irrigation and lighting services.
